Welcome to Dane Hunter Artography.  This site showcases the portfolio of Dane Hunter, specializing in fine art High Sierra landscape, nature photography, and portraiture with nature as the backdrop. Being outdoors, capturing the beauty of nature, is what I love.  

The American High Sierras inspire me with their ever changing palette of light, shadow, color, and texture.  

Of the few respectable years I've spent on this planet, I've grown to appreciate that everything has an ordered plan. Patterns exist.  From birth to death, we circle through the seasons, exploring and seeking, only to arrive at the knowledge that we are a very small entity in a vast universe of ordered mystery.
